This course provides users with an understanding of the advanced Prognosis products, their design and usage. Advanced functional areas such as the Application Development Interface, Automated Analyst, Security, IRCMD Command Line Utility and Web Reporting are covered during the course.

Course topics include:

• Implementing Prognosis security features
• Implementing advanced display features such as drill-down links and user commands
• Developing Application Development Interface extractor scripts
• Developing Automated Analyst rules
• Using the Prognosis command-line interface to manage your environment
• Using the Web Interface and Web Reporting

This class intended for system administrators with a minimum of 6 months experience working with Prognosis.  Students should have a solid understanding of Prognosis displays, databases, thresholds and configurations prior to attending this class. The Prognosis Standard training class is a recommended prerequisite for this course.
