A place where you can make your mark, right now.

We're looking for graduates and interns who are looking for their first big opportunity. After all, isn’t that what all those years of study and hard work were for? The chance to work for a company that is a recognised technology leader, a company who encourages and rewards high performers.

We are IR

IR is big enough to attract some of the world’s largest clients, but small enough for you to make a difference.

Integrated Research is an Australian company that has been building performance monitoring solutions for business-critical computing environments for over twenty years. Our flagship product, IR Prognosis, is used by more than 500 of the world’s largest organisations, in more than 50 countries, to monitor their business-critical IT infrastructure, payments processing, and VoIP networks.

In other words, Prognosis makes it possible for other businesses to keep doing what they do, helping to ensure constant server and application availability. Without access to their critical systems, our customers can’t serve their customers, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue could be at stake.

We offer Software Engineering Graduate and Intern Programs

Our graduate program is professional and responsive. We focus on expanding our graduates' experience and developing their knowledge through on the job learning. Our teams are constantly involved in process improvement and utilise team-based (Agile) development methodologies.

In the first twelve months you’ll learn about the Prognosis product architecture and supported platforms. You’ll be assigned a mentor to guide you through the program, with regular feedback from peers and customers, and the opportunity to see your work deployed immediately to customer sites.

We encourage our graduates and interns to look for growth opportunities. From software engineering you can launch your career into different streams, including product architecture, management, QA, support, product management, or pre-sales engineering. We have graduate and intern positions open now in software engineering based in our Sydney office, with future career paths available both within Australia and our overseas offices in London and Denver.

We accept International Students

IR accepts international student applications for our Graduate Program who have not yet obtained their Australian permanent residency.
To be eligible to apply, candidates will need to demonstrate their:

  • ability to obtain permanent residency under the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)
  • legal right to work in Australia up until such time that permanent residency is granted.

We will also accept applications for graduate employment if you currently hold the Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485), provided that you can score at least 60 points on the points test.
IR will not sponsor any students for the purposes of residency. Successful candidates who are not permanent residents when made an offer of employment will be required, as a condition of their prospective graduate employment, to independently apply for and obtain permanent residency.
Information obtained during the process of assessing your eligibility to apply for graduate employment with Integrated Research will not be used in any way other than determining your suitability to apply for and obtain permanent residency to work in Australia.

Only applications from international students that meet the above criteria, and therefore qualify for permanent residence after graduation, will be accepted.

At IR we are a proud equal opportunity employer.

Are you the type of candidate we're looking for?

At IR we are looking for high-achieving graduates and interns available to participate in a six or 12 month placement as part of their degree.

The suitable candidates will:
